Full credit to my partner who initiated this concept design. I started this design with a vector Fist uploaded to openclipart.org by Elpedro. After tweaking it a little, I then added the letters to the fist, applying some outset so the letters were not as crisp, more like a tattoo. I then created the SK ring with a series of rounded rectangles. I want to try out the stained black deck to see how the etching would come out. The different levels, although had different depth, came out in similar shade. While the skateboard deck was still in the jig, I etched the vectors around all of the detail, to ensure the shapes stood out. The photo here doesn’t really do this deck justice. I look forward to see how this looks on a natural deck.
